Teaching Lies About US History is Child Abuse

The “Founding Fathers” knew from the beginning that having white heirs and educating them in the ways of white supremacy was crucial to the enterprise of accumulating tremendous intergenerational wealth and power. This is why they imported white women as “Tobacco Brides,” tied the laws of marriage and property, gave white children enslaved people as christening and birthday gifts and began educating them at an early age how to torture the enslaved people, and dehumanized Black and Indigenous people.

From colonial times to today, white supremacists have sought to control young white minds and mold them into the next generation of white supremacists.

The post-Birth of a Nation national expansion of the KKK in the 1920s coincided with the initiation of universal public education. The Grand Wizard of the KKK, a retired dentist from Dallas, envisioned the KKK as a mainstream political organization with public education priority number one. He encouraged KKK members to run for School Board and turn schools into indoctrination centers. The United Daughters of the Confederacy dedicated themselves to securing authors to write textbooks lauding the Confederacy and depicting slavery as kind and gentle.
