Hi Christopher you are correct- according to the Pew research on verified voters, white women made up 41% of the electorate in 2016, and 47% of us voted for Trump. Although it contradicts the Pew data, I use the 53% percent number because that was the number that was published right after the election and is more well known.
So to be clear white women made up 41% of the electorate in 2016, white men made up 33% and Black and Latinx men and women combined made up 20%.
